You run a small business. Your to-do list is n ever evolving thing – cross one thing off and three more appear. Your website jobs in particular have a way of living permanently in the ‘I’ll get to it soon’ pile.
The blog page that needs the layout fixing. The services page that still shows last year’s prices. The new Canva social templates you’ve been meaning to create. The contact form that’s gone wrong and you don’t know why. The SEO tweaks you know you should do but haven’t touched.
None of it is complicated enough to justify commissioning a full project. But none of it is simple enough to just magic away in five minutes either. And every week it sits there, your online presence is quietly underperforming.
A VIP Day is a focused block of time, either 5 or 7 hours, where I work exclusively on your website, design, or social media tasks, with no other clients competing for my attention.
This is not a ‘build a whole website in a day’ service. I don’t believe that’s a realistic or ethical promise. What a VIP Day genuinely is – and what makes it so valuable – is the ability to power through a substantial list of real, meaningful tasks without the overhead of a full project engagement.
You bring the list. I bring the expertise, the tools, and five or seven hours of absolute focus. By end of day, you’ll have a website that actually reflects where your business is right now, not where it was six months ago.
A note on what this is, and isn’t: I won’t promise to build a full website in a day, because a good website can’t be built in a day. VIP Days are for real, focused progress on your existing site or design assets – not a shortcut to something that deserves more care. That honesty is part of what you’re paying for.
What We Can Work On
VIP Days are flexible and your session is shaped around your list, not a fixed menu. Here’s the kind of work that makes excellent use of the day:
- Updating copy, pricing, or service descriptions across your site

- Fixing layout issues, broken sections, or things that have 'gone wrong'
- Improving mobile responsiveness on problem pages

- Designing a lead magnet, PDF guide, or checklist in Canva
- Building a Canva brand kit or template library for your business
- Designing a digital asset such as a media kit, rate card, or welcome pack
- Creating branded graphics for a course, membership, or digital product
- SEO updates: title tags, meta descriptions, heading structure, image alt text
- Plugin setup or configuration — forms, booking systems, popups, GDPR tools
- Speed and performance improvements — image optimisation, caching setup
- Setting up or improving your Google Analytics or Search Console integration
- Troubleshooting and resolving a specific technical issue

Please note: VIP Days are not suitable for: building a complete new website from scratch, a full brand identity design, ecommerce or membership setup, or anything that requires a full project brief and discovery process. These have their own dedicated services.

VIP Days are limited to a maximum of two per month dependent on other project commitments – I don’t take back-to-back VIP clients because each one deserves my genuine focus and energy. If you have a date in mind, it’s worth getting in touch early to check availability.
The day works because the structure is clear from the start. No surprises, no scope creep – just methodical progress through your prioritised list.
You secure your VIP Day slot with a 50% deposit. I'll send you a short prep form to start gathering your task list. No lengthy questionnaire - just the essentials.
We have a 30-minute planning call. You share your task list; I give honest feedback on what's achievable in the time, suggest any adjustments, and confirm the priority order. We agree on what success looks like for the day.
Your remaining 50% payment is due. Please also ensure any content, copy, images, or logins I'll need are shared with me before 9am on the day.
I start work at our agreed time. I work through your priority list top to bottom, checking in with you at key points - typically mid-morning and mid-afternoon - for approvals and feedback. You don't need to sit and watch; you do need to be available on email or phone for quick responses.
I send you a summary of everything completed, any files created, and any notes on what I didn't reach. You'll have a clear record of exactly what was done.
You have one week of post-day email support for any questions, small tweaks, or niggles that come up once you're using everything in the real world.
Tech support hours are flexible, ad hoc, and billed per hour – great for small, ongoing tasks that crop up unpredictably. A VIP Day is a dedicated, pre-planned block of time for bigger, more substantial work that deserves concentrated focus. The day format means I’m in flow on your project specifically, no context-switching, no other clients. That focus is what makes it significantly more efficient for larger task lists.
No. VIP Days are open to new clients as well as existing ones. The planning call the week before gives me enough context to work effectively on your site, even if I didn’t build it originally. I’ll ask for relevant logins and any brand assets I’ll need before the day.
Your priority task list: as specific as possible. Any content (copy, images, updated text) that I’ll need to complete the tasks. Relevant logins (WordPress admin, any third-party tools we’ll need to access). I’ll send you a short pre-day prep form when you book to make sure everything is in order.
You don’t need to sit and watch over my shoulder, that’s the whole point. But I do need you responsive on email or phone, ideally within 20–30 minutes, particularly around the two check-in points during the day. If you’re going to be in back-to-back meetings or off the grid, it’s worth flagging that upfront so we can plan around it.
I’ll be honest with you during the planning call if your list looks longer than the time allows. On the day itself, I work top to bottom through the priority list, so the most important things always get done first. A detailed summary of what was completed and what remains is sent at the end of the day. You can always book a follow-up VIP Day or switch to tech support hours for whatever’s left.
Yes, if the content is ready to place (copy, images, and any links or integrations it needs). Building a page without content in place isn’t something I’ll do in a VIP Day context, it ends up being a placeholder exercise rather than real progress.
Absolutely. Design work for social media, lead magnets, PDFs, brand templates, and digital assets is very well suited to a VIP Day format. Canva-based work often moves quickly and you can see the results evolving in real time if you want to.
I ask for at least 5 working days’ notice to reschedule your slot. Late cancellations (within 48 hours) forfeit the deposit. If you need to reschedule with appropriate notice, your deposit holds for a new date within 3 months.
