Jasmine Lewthwaite runs Jasmine Blossom Birth & Baby, teaching hypnobirthing, antenatal preparation and baby massage from her corner of the Suffolk coast. Over several years she had built and maintained her own website, adding to it each time her business grew. By 2026 it had quietly outgrown itself: the services had changed, the pages no longer matched one another, and every small edit had become a job Jasmine couldn’t easily do herself.
She came to me for a complete rebuild in WordPress. The brief was not simply a new look, but a consistent, coherent structure she could keep building on for the year ahead.
Jasmine Blossom Birth & Baby is a birth and baby education business based in Woodbridge, teaching in person across East Suffolk and online worldwide. Jasmine is a qualified hypnobirthing and antenatal educator and baby massage instructor.
Her offering had broadened considerably: one to one hypnobirthing courses, a shorter refresher workshop, a dedicated Positive Caesarean Workshop, five week baby massage courses across four venues, a monthly Pregnancy Circle, and a full ten hour antenatal course run in partnership with a registered midwife.
The original site had been built page by page as each of those services appeared. Every page had been designed in isolation, which meant no two looked quite the same, with different layouts, different heading styles, different ways of presenting prices and dates. Visitors arriving to compare two courses had to relearn the page each time, and anyone trying to book had several different routes to choose from, none of them obvious.
Jasmine didn’t want a site that would need replacing again in eighteen months. She wanted a solid, well-organised base, something she could add courses, dates and blog posts to as the business kept growing.
Industry: Birth Education, Hypnobirthing & Baby Massage
Location: Woodbridge, East Suffolk
Platform: WordPress with Elementor
Focus: Website Rebuild, Content Migration, Booking & Navigation, SEO
Device Optimised: Desktop, Tablet & Mobile
Jasmine’s requirement was practical rather than purely aesthetic. The site needed to stop being a job and start being an asset.
What the new website needed to do:
I designed and built a new WordPress website using Elementor, structured around a repeatable page framework rather than a set of one-off page designs.
Before any design work began, I mapped all sixteen pages and established a single template pattern for service pages: an introduction, what the course covers, who it suits, practical details, dates and pricing, and a clear booking prompt in the same position every time. Hypnobirthing, the Positive Caesarean Workshop, baby massage and the Pregnancy Circle now follow the same rhythm, so a visitor comparing two options is reading the same shape of page twice. That consistency does quiet work: it reduces effort, builds trust, and makes the whole business feel more established.
I also refined a brand colour palette drawn from Jasmine’s existing logo and paired it with complementary Google Fonts, so the new site felt like a natural evolution of her brand rather than a replacement of it.
The menu was restructured around how people actually search: a Services parent with each course sitting beneath it, plus a persistent Book prompt so the next step is always one tap away, on any page, on any device. Bookings were consolidated into a single central hub rather than being scattered across individual pages, which means Jasmine now updates dates in one place and every route leads somewhere current.
Cross-links were built between related services: baby massage pointing back to pregnancy support, hypnobirthing pointing across to the full antenatal course, so visitors who arrive for one thing discover the rest naturally.
I refined and optimised the copy for all sixteen pages, keeping Jasmine’s warm, direct voice while structuring each page around the terms local parents genuinely search for. The existing blog was migrated in full with its metadata intact, and page-specific schema markup was added so search engines can properly understand the courses, locations and business behind them.
During the content review I flagged several issues that had built up on the old site: prices that hadn’t been updated, two different figures given for the same course length, duplicated testimonials, and a course still being advertised that Jasmine no longer ran. All were resolved before launch.
The site was built on a clean, flexible foundation with reusable templates, so adding a new course, a new venue or a new class date follows a pattern Jasmine already knows. Performance and accessibility were prioritised throughout, and the site is fully responsive across desktop, tablet and mobile, which matters more than usual here, given how many of her visitors are browsing one-handed with a baby asleep on them.
Jasmine now has a website that matches the business she actually runs, rather than the one she started.
