⚡ WARNING: Big Life question incoming ⚡
How are you going with that whole work/life balance thing? Hmmm.

I would rate myself a 4 out of 10, which means I definitely have room for improvement too. Work in progress and all that!!!

I worked out that there were 3 things I really had to get clear on to help me get better at balance and they are:

1. Putting what is important to me first - Work is work (and I love it) but my son is my main driver alongside my family. Sometimes it is really easy to get caught up in the endless and chaotic nature of my work and when that happens I try my best to reframe my thinking and remember what is MOST important to me.

2. Saying NO to things that don't serve me - If it is not a HELL YES then it is a no. I’m learning that my time is precious and I try to only work with clients who light me up.

3. Remember what my idea of success is (not what others want/have) - In the early days of my businesses I got caught up wanting to achieve what other people were doing but my idea of success is completely different to theirs! It is important to remember what your idea of success is and ignore the noise.

Time for me to do some half term activities away from my desk! Yes, here in Wales we have our half term at a completely different time to some other parts of the country! It’s very confusing! Back at my desk on 8th November!
