Branding FAQs

Curious about how I create branding that captures the essence of your business? Here’s everything you need to know about my branding process.

The timeline depends on the package. A basic brand identity package typically takes 3-4 weeks, while more comprehensive packages can take 5-7 weeks.

No problem! We’ll start with a brand clarity session to understand your business, goals, and audience. Together, we’ll craft a clear, strategic vision for your brand.

A brand suite includes a primary logo, submarks, a full-colour palette, typography selections, and a brand board or guidelines document to ensure consistent usage across all platforms.

You’ll receive one primary logo concept with two rounds of revisions, ensuring we refine your brand until it’s exactly what you need.

I don’t offer logos in isolation because branding is more than just a logo. A cohesive brand identity helps you communicate your values and connect with your audience on a deeper level.

A brand clarity session is a 60-minute consultation where we dive into your business vision, target audience, and values, helping to lay the foundation for a compelling brand identity.

Before I can get started, I require a bit of pre work from you.

Once you’ve accepted my contract and made an initial payment, I’ll send over a questionnaire for you to get started.

This questionnaire has been refined over time, and the questions are designed to draw out in depth information about you, your business and your target market to ensure I get an accurate picture of your needs and can deliver a brand that encapsulates your esssence.

You can save your questionnaire and come back to it over time, or submit in one go.

You’re able to attach any files that might be useful for me, and I ask that you create a pinterest board to get a bit of insight into the style of branding you like (full instructions are given for how to do this if it is new to you).

Yes! I offer digital design assets, including social media templates and other branded materials, to complement your new identity.

If you’re looking to build a consistent, recognisable brand that resonates with your audience and supports long-term growth, a full brand strategy is the way to go. We’ll discuss this in our initial consultation.

Yes, two revision passes are included in your package. This ensures that you’re fully satisfied with the final outcome.

Yes, all branding packages include a brand guideline that outlines how to use your logos, colours, and fonts across all platforms, helping maintain consistency.

Web Design FAQs

Have questions about building or revamping your website? Let’s dive into the specifics of how I can make your WordPress website shine.

This depends on the package and any additional inclusions you select, and on how quickly you get your pre work completed.

Most custom WordPress websites take 10-16 weeks, depending on the number of pages and complexity. We’ll agree on a clear timeline at the start of the project.

My SEO services include keyword research, competitor analysis, technical optimisation, and setting up Google Analytics and Search Console to ensure your website is ready for search engines. My general advice is that SEO is an ongoing and ever changing part of your overall website strategy and thus needs ongoing adjustments.

All web design packages include 2-3 rounds of revisions to make sure the final design meets your expectations.

If you don’t already have a domain or hosting, I can help guide you through the process of purchasing a domain name and setting up hosting with your preferred provider, or you can choose to use my hosting services after purchasing your domain name/s.

I’m glad you asked! I feel this is so very important to get right.

How do you find out? I would first suggest taking a thorough browse through my portfolio of work and ensure you like my style and the kind of work I produce.

Want a bit more of an insight? I share on Instagram and if you want further information you can book in a free 15 minute consultation to answer any remaining questions you may have or if you want clarification about some aspect of my process or delivery.

The clients I choose to work with:

  • Understand that the design process is important and takes time.
  • Are willing to open their horizons, take feedback and potentially have any preconceived ideas challenged.
  • Trust my experience as a designer.
  • Respect my time and pricing structure.
  • Understand that this process is collaborative, a two way street and requires timely input from you.

I offer different packages based on the number of pages and the complexity of your site. Smaller websites are more affordable and have a quicker turnaround, while larger, feature-rich sites require more time and investment.

Yes, all my websites are fully responsive, meaning they look great on all screen sizes, from smartphones to desktops. This should be as standard on all websites these days.

My e-commerce packages include WooCommerce setup, integration with your payment gateway, and the addition of up to 3 products with options to expand if needed.

Yes! I can integrate membership and online course platforms, so you can offer exclusive content, courses, or training to your audience.

Before I can get started on our web design project, I require a bit of pre work from you.

Once you’ve accepted my proposal, contract and made an initial payment, you’ll be sent access to your Client Portal. Within the portal you will be able to see all of the details related to our design project together, including the timeline and steps that you’ll have to take at each stage.

You’ll be able to access a questionnaire for you to get started which is very in-depth and allows me to get all of the details from you for each of the pages and to ensure that I can work my magic.

You can save your questionnaire and come back to it over time, or submit in one go. You’re able to attach any files that might be useful for me, and there will be specific files that will be essential if you already have them to hand (such as branding and brand assets if you are supplying these) and I ask that you create a pinterest board to get a bit of insight into the style of websites you like (and what you don’t like).

If a copywriter is being involved they will be arranged and if you need to have a brand shoot to get the images for your website in time, you will need to book that in at this point, as photographers need their own time schedule to prepare and deliver images after the photoshoot.

Yes, your web design package provides a selection of training videos to help you feel confident editing your website. I also offer 1:1 WordPress training to help you feel confident managing your site. This can be booked as an add-on or part of a VIP Day.

After launch, you receive 4 weeks of post-launch email support. If you need ongoing maintenance, my Website Care Plans ensure everything runs smoothly long-term.

Yes! Each package I offer is designed to be an extension of the smaller package, so you are free to upgrade and pay the difference at any stage as your business grows. Even the lowest price website engagement includes best practice set up of the back end.

Yes, I offer payment plans to make investing in your website (or branding) more manageable. Typically, payment is split into two or three installments. Smaller packages are paid for in full before the project begins.

For website packages, I accept payments via bank transfer in installments of:

– 50% deposit to secure your project date.
– 25% payment prior to stage two of build.
– 25% payment prior to website launch.

In some cases I can break this down into 4 payments, over 8 weeks, or accept credit card payments, however the final payment must be made prior to website go live.

Please feel free to get in touch to work out a payment arrangement that suits you.

Before I can get started, I require a bit of pre work from you.

Once you’ve accepted my contract and made an initial payment, I’ll send over a questionnaire for you to get started. This is important as I tend to book out in advance, so a deposit is required to secure your project in the studio.

Your prework contains questions which have been refined over time, and are designed to draw out in depth information about you, your business and your target market to ensure I get an accurate picture of your needs and can deliver a website that encapsulates your esssence.

You can save your questionnaire and come back to it over time, or submit in one go.

You’re able to attach any files that might be useful for me, and I ask that you create a pinterest board to get a bit of insight into the style of website you like.

There are some items, that aren’t my speciality, for example Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Social Media Management. I’ve built a trusted network of partners, so if I can’t help you with a specific need I’ll refer you to someone who can.

Branding FAQs

Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Ut elit tellus, luctus nec ullamcorper mattis, pulvinar dapibus leo.

This is so important to get right, for both of us!

If we’re a good fit, we’ll get the best result from your project.

To start with, I recommend taking a thorough browse through my portfolio of work and ensure you like my style and aesthetic.

You might also like to follow me on Instagram to connect, chat, and see a bit more of a behind the scenes glimpse into my process.

If you’re still not sure, I offer a free 15 minute consultation to answer any outstanding questions you might have about my style, work, process or delivery.

The clients I choose to work with:
– Understand that the design process is important and takes time.
– Are willing to open their horizons, take feedback and potentially have any preconceived ideas challenged.
– Trust my experience as a designer.
– Respect my time and pricing structure.
– Understand that this process is collaborative, a two way street and requires timely input from you.

Short answer, no.

Long answer, this just isn’t what I do. It’s not only unethical, it’s just not good business practice.

Each brand I build is designed custom to suit your business and target market. This ensures that your business can stand out in a crowded marketplace and your branding is unique.

As part of the consultation process you have an opportunity to share examples of brands that you like. Throughout the design process I keep the feeling of these brands, rather than the representation of each mark, in mind.

All packages include business card design, but physical delivery of cards is not included in the package price.

I have a printer I love and recommend, and can provide a 20% discount for you to make your first order.

I totally understand this one, as I know choosing to work with me is a big investment, however this is not something I offer.

I firmly believe in the power of having a full brand with multiple marks, colours, associated typography and guidelines.

My process includes strategy and marketing perspective, so you have power behind your visual representation.

This helps to ensure a consistent presence and build trust with your audience, where ‘just a logo’ doesn’t have the same effect.

For brand packages, I accept payments via bank transfer in instalments of:

– 50% deposit to secure your project in the studio.
– 50% payment prior to delivery of final files.

In some cases I can break this down into 4 payments, over 8 weeks, or accept credit card payments, however the final payment must be made prior to delivery of final files.

Please feel free to get in touch to work out a payment arrangement that suits you.

This depends on the package and inclusions you select, and on how quickly you get your pre work completed.

As a guideline I allow one month for our Bud brand package and two months for our Bloom brand package.

Of course! The Bloom brand package includes the design of one small collateral item, for example a letterhead, and one large collateral item, for example a flyer.

I’m also an expert in other aspects of design such as; website development, email direct marketing, and social media.

There are some items, that aren’t my speciality, for example packaging or illustration. I’ve built a trusted network of partners, so if I can’t help you with a specific need I’ll refer you to someone who can.

This is not something I offer as standard.

I provide you with a full range of brand file types to support you in every need, but if original design files are also required, these can be provided for a fee.

You’re able to attach any files that might be useful for me, and I ask that you create a pinterest board to get a bit of insight into the style of branding you like.

I’ve worked hard on refining my processes to ensure delivery of branding is seamless and stress free for both of us.

Once you’ve selected a package, I’ll send over a timeline which outlines the steps taken for your chosen package, and how long each of these typically take.

I also pride myself on keeping my clients up to date and keeping projects moving. So if I need something from you, I’ll be in touch. Likewise, if there is a delay at my end for any reason, this will also be communicated.

Web Design FAQs

Have questions about building or revamping your website? Let’s dive into the specifics of how I can make your WordPress website shine.

Absolutely, in fact this is I believe one of the main ways my offering delivers from other providers.

I believe a website is never complete. In fact, I make changes to mine at least once a week!

Over time, outsourcing these changes can cost a business thousands of dollars.

I provide my clients with a website owners manual upon handover which includes videos demonstrating the ways to keep your site up to date, and make changes or additions as required.

The build cost is only one part of owning a website, however I build on WordPress, which is a free open source software to minimise other costs.

Other providers may charge up to $299 per month, plus payment processing fees on top of what a payment gateway like Stripe or Pay Pal charge, these costs can quickly add up.

With WordPress, the only ongoing costs for a typical website are hosting and domain licensing.

Hosting costs can range from $3 – $50 per month depending on the hosting plan and inclusions. For example some hosts include SSL certificates, daily scheduled backups to keep your investment secure, or you might opt for your website to be hosted on a private server, which is beneficial for speed, security and search engine optimisation. These features incur an additional charges, but in my mind are worth the investment, particularly when compared to other providers.

Domain costs are generally around the $20 per year mark.

I also recommend clients consider adding on a branded email, which is generally between $5 – $8 per month.

We offer hosting plans which come with some of the additions listed above (backups, SSL certificate, private server) with the additional benefit of recieving access to our agency level plugins on an ongoing basis.

I build exclusively on WordPress.

WordPress is my platform of choice for a number of reasons, but in short, it’s powerful, flexible, beautiful and allows scope for growth with your business.
